i read from Einn's blog about her watching the RTM 1 thingy talking about last Saturday's match. 4-0, 5-0? sorry, dude.... it's:
as Ragini said: IN YOUR FACE!!!
man, don't i love this. WE ACTUALLY BEAT M'SIA!!! watching a live match is much nicer as you tend to be IN the game more than watching it at home. the feeling is just SO UBER different. when we (me, melanie, ragini, arun, mureli, jun long & aik hong) sat down, we felt this vibration. ok, i can't really say it's a vibration as it's way more than a vibration. ok, it's a semi-stadium quake. anyway, when ragini and i felt that, we thought it was like a tremor or something. damn scary. then we realised, the Kallang Wave's coming! alright, so we did the wave! it was damn cool!! RAD!!
me & Rags. look how packed it was!
1st half was fun for me. all the oohs and aahs were everywhere. if you were watchig the match at home, maybe the 1st half wasn't that fun. anyway, whenever the M'sian got hold on the ball, the S'porean fans will do this damn vulgar cheer. it's sooo vulgar, that i'd rather you watch the video that i'm gonna put up later or maybe the link. you can't really hear it when the match was live on t.v that night.
when M'sia scored 1st, you wouldn't wanna know how quiet S'porean fans went. for a moment we were so hyped up, the next minute we went silent. i couldn't stop laughing at it. oh, and the other fans around me were very funny! they always make a lot of funny & doesn't-make-sense kinda comments. from: eh, M'sia can relek one corner ah! to: eh, M'sian players drama sia! go home and smoke ah! another was this malay girl shouting: eh! eh! eh! Jaga*!!
*in this case, it means defend in malay.
so whenever this girl starts shouting, a malay boy behind me was like: dia ada nama! dia ada nama*!
*he has a name, he has a name in malay.
wouldn't you laugh? so at that period when M'sia was leading, i don't know whether to laugh or to cry. laugh due to their funny comments and cry because S'pore was scoring yet.
when Daniel Bennett did a long pass for Noh Alam Shah to head the all into the penalty box, it was very crowded at that area. whenever the S'pore players crowd around the penalty box. i just hope for some miracle to happen down there. just some saviour to equalise the match. and then, it happens. suddenly the stadium went wild. GGGOOOAALLL!!! we were screaming and shouting goal for like almost 1-2 minutes! ahahahaha! then, i stopped to ask: who scored? lmao! anyway, thanks to ESPN, i can watch the replay. so daddy dearest scored the goal! ok, he's a wee bit too young to be MY daddy but can't help it. he has the same name as my dad. yup, the scorer was Ridhuan. the guy who injured his forehead, or was it eyebrow? anyway, this is him.
Ridhuan, not injured.
Ridhuan, injured.
and i thought that a draw was fine. until i realised that it was a must-win match. oh man, you won't wanna know how much i HATE penalties. somehow, it's just plain not fair. so i must say that S'pore was lucky in this match. here's the video that i've found on youtube:
*hear for the vulgar cheer, people!
